China Coal Handan Design Engineering Co.,Ltd. is a large-scale and A-grade comprehensive design & research Institute, is one of the key circle in coal industry nowadays. Originally known as HanDan Design & Research Institute of the Ministry of Coal Industry，it has been renamed as China Coal Handan Design Engineering Co.,Ltd from reforming system in August of 2006.It is mainly engaged in prospecting & design, turnkey contract engineering and technical engineering consultancy.
Since its establishment, the company has got involved in and completed a large number of high technical level key projects. And it has been awarded respectively the more than 180 prizes of national, provincial or ministerial level. Among these awards, the project for the Bulianta mine has been awarded national golden prize in the 9th of National Best Engineering Design Awards. Chenzhuang mine has won the national silver medal awards for high quality project. Dongpang mine has won the silver medal award for the excellent project, the first civil mine engineering works award in our country. The simulation system of transportation and drawing software at the bottom of mine were awarded 1st grade of national Excellent Engineering computer software design. The soft package of coal mining design has won national gold prize in the 5th of National Best Engineering software design Awards .? the coal based program in Ji ? has won Special award in The engineering consultation of the coal trade.So the company has been awarded “The model of using the CAD” by the National Science and Technology Ministry.
With its business in more than 20 countries and regions of the world, the company has accumulated rich experience in overall contracting of project abroad and railway supervision. In recent years, the company has contract the subway project supervision in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin., Nanjing, Shenyang and Xi’an. Now it displays a new pattern that the design, contract and supervision are in advance side by side.
Having the strong comprehensive technical force, the company has more than 500 staff, among which, 80% are technical personnel of senior and middle ranks: one is a national design master, 222 are registered professions. In 1997, the company passed smoothly the ISO-9001 quality system certification.
